Trident Engineering & Marine Partners with Dubai Police on Smart Boat “Haddad” Project
Trident Engineering & Marine has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai Police to enhance collaboration in the design, manufacturing, and expertise exchange related to the force’s Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs) and their structures.

This partnership will play a pivotal role in the Dubai Police Smart Boat Project “Haddad,” the first of its kind in the region, featuring unique capabilities that set it apart globally.
The MoU was signed by Major General Dr. Saleh Abdullah Murad, Director of the General Department of Human Resources at Dubai Police, and Mr. Keith Oliver, Managing Partner of Trident Engineering & Marine, with officials from both organizations present.
The collaboration will support the ongoing development of “Haddad,” – a project designed to enhance maritime security and operational efficiency. The smart boat will reduce operational costs, shorten response times, improve data collection, and facilitate the smart transformation of Dubai Police’s operations.

In his statement, Major General Dr. Murad emphasized, “Dubai Police is committed to enhancing communication and cooperation to support projects that align with our operational goals. This partnership reflects our ongoing efforts to exchange expertise and contribute to Dubai Police’s strategic objectives.” He added that the MoU follows in-depth research and coordination to ensure “Haddad” sets a global benchmark.
Brigadier Dr. Hassan Suhail Al Suwaidi, Director of the Ports Police Station, said, “This MoU marks a key step in advancing the Smart Boat ‘Haddad,’ demonstrating our commitment to integrating innovative technologies for maritime security.”
Mr. Keith Oliver, Managing Partner of Trident Engineering & Marine, expressed pride in the collaboration: “We are honored to work with Dubai Police on ‘Haddad,’ reflecting our shared dedication to advancing maritime technology and setting new safety standards.”
Through this MoU, both organizations will work together on the design and manufacturing of “Haddad,” exchange expertise, and drive innovation in future initiatives.
